Have we made ourselves known to the Lord?

Although I was conceived by the will of the flesh, yet have I been attained by the will of God and abide herewith.

From the moment we are born, as each day passes our days on this Earth become fewer. There are many who choose to neither labour or strive but rather live a life garnished by “ill gotten gains” (acquired not earned), by way of deception, theft, murder or by other unrighteous means. They will never know Grace nor be honoured, for they could never bestow or bequeath anything that is “rightfully theirs”, for that which is rightfully gotten is called “GOODS” and remains the property of the rightful owner until ownership is passed to another by the owner thereof.

And some in their youth labour and strive as much as they are able to lay-up wealth and riches for the days when they are old and nearing death, much of which will profit nobody but by a dead legacy, having left (not given) only what they no longer have need of themselves, having never suffered the needs of others, the memory of such shall be their shame.

And some labour and strive only for what they need day by day, harvesting no more than they need and so do all their lives unto death, thereby leaving no legacy at all, for they too never suffered the needs of another, the memory of they shall be as though they never were or lived at all.

And some labour and strive as much as they are able, keeping only that which they need and dispersing all excess to those who have needs beyond their abilities or circumstances permit, laying up nothing for themselves for a morrow that may not come, but rather suffering all they can for those who are in need in the day that they know that they are able to so do, having Faith that each morrow shall bring an abundance for likewise dispersal, not only of their riches but their wisdom also, and in the years that they are not, they shall be remembered for bestowing a Living Legacy of a life lived worthy of remembrance and emulation. For they, whilst they were yet with us, saw those that were hungry and fed them, they in need of shelter and took them in, clothed those who had not, gave drink to those athirst, visited the sick and poorly, gave wisdom to the unwise, knowledge to those who know not, had prayers for all and favoured none. Not remembered as Gods, but rather as one who had the Love of God abiding in them (Children of God) and lived accordingly, for it is far better to sympathise and act whilst thou yet live, than to merely empathise and do nothing except it be over your dead body and of no sacrifice at all.

Matthew 7:20-27. “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Matthew 25:31-46. "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

I am not advocating becoming a “Good Samaritan”, for a Samaritan acts on their own will. Nor am I advocating inaction. But rather Acting and Speaking in concert and in harmony with the Holy Spirit and Will of God. This can be no clearer than in the words of “The Lord’s Prayer”. For in it Jesus says, “Thy Will be DONE on Earth as it is in Heaven”. This statement alone implies that God’s Will is not always “the DONE thing” on Earth, but “IS ALWAYS THE DONE THING” in Heaven. And at the risk of stating what now should be obvious, “Whomsoever is not for The Will of God [alike] is against the Will of God [unlike]. How for then shall we be “likened”? Good fruit are “known” firstly by their appearance [by sight and what they appear to be] and confirmed by what they deliver from within [their essence and content or true value and worth]. We acknowledge that we are sustained by the Hand of God and the Word of God. Be merciful unto us as we ourselves are merciful unto others. And although we may at times have temptations laid in our paths, we Trust that the Holy Spirit shall deliver us from being tempted and not succumb to it.

Shall we be only the outward shell of what promises great things, yet when required inwardly showing no depth of character and those depending on us left wanting (even for small mercies). Or maybe we can be the deliverer of small and simple acts that amount to an abundance over the term of our lives. If we cannot be trusted to deliver the small and simple things, how can we be entrusted to deliver great and miraculous things? Is it not better that we do what we can guided by the Holy Spirit using our God given Talents (abilities), than to go all our lives trying to perform Miracles and accomplish nothing due to a lack of Faith? Should we bury our Talents or use them just for ourselves or make Good use of them so they may give a greater return to He who invested us with them? Friends, what is the greater? Is it the one who gives all of what little they have, or the one who gives a fraction they have from their abundance?

Mark 12:42-44. “And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

Matthew 25:23. His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

May God Bless us all that we may bestow His Blessings, His Word and Promises with others that hath not. A-men.

A Walk With Grace

One day I walked, I walked and saw, I saw a sight, the sight I saw, the day I walked and saw.
The day I walked, I walked and heard, I heard a sound, a sound I heard, the day I walked and heard.
The day I walked, I walked and touched, I touched and felt, and felt by touch, the day I walked and touched.
The day I walked, I walked and tasted, I tasted a taste, a tasty taste, the day I walked and tasted.
The day I walked, I walked and smelt, I smelled a smell, and smelt the smell, the day I walked and smelt.
The day I walked, I walked and pondered, I pondered a thought, in thought I pondered, the day I walked and pondered.
And now I sit, I sit in wonder, at the wonderful gifts, given to me, by God the day I walked.

Many say “Spare the rod, spoil the child”, I say, “Spare the Child and to hell with the rod”.

Form the very bowels of agony a child comes forth and is immediately greeted by the mother with absolute Love. Such is God’s Love for us, whether we are a sinner or a Saint. No harm should come to us by the hand of another. For God places his mark on us as he did to Cane (claiming sole rights to any vengeance and retribution for any wrong doing) and later confirmed His exclusive right to judge any sinner when Jesus Christ said “let he who is without sin cast the first stone”. Jesus also taught his followers that it is a wicked servant who is forgiven their debts by their Master and yet fails to do likewise for their subordinates or servants. Jesus also taught that a good tree does not bring forth bad fruit and that everyone shall be known by the words that proceed from them. A newborn child has no judgement or ill feelings towards anyone in the world and if we are to perfect the Love of God and the Love of Jesus Christ in our lives then we should be likewise Loving and devoted to caring for All our fellowman. The Love of God and Jesus Christ are UNCONDITIONAL, WITHOUT BIAS and UNPREJUDICED. If we are to be as Jesus Christ wants us to be which is “as little children” then we are to look on one-another through “innocent eyes”.

I was a sinner and because my sins have been forgiven through God’s Mercy and by the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ and in diligently abiding by all and every instruction given by Jesus Christ, shall never condemn or forsake another to come unto the Lord, A-Men!

My detractors shall become my greatest allies by virtue of the Word of God delivered unto us by Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

It is not for me to determine or decree that anyone should harken unto anything that I write this day, or indeed at any other time. But if ye hath an ear to hear these words I write, then I am glad that they are neither in vain nor spake merely unto the air.

It is an ever-increasing concern to me (and no doubt many others) that Christianity has become so fragmented because of differences of opinion (interpretations) that it is in danger of becoming irrelevant. Did Jesus not say, “A Kingdom that is divided against itself will not stand”? 1 Corinthians 14:33 “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” So logically the only culprit of the dishevelled state of Christ’s Church is man himself. Christ’s Church has been divided and sent off on more tangents than there are points on a compass. Seriously if the Kingdom of God was in the same inharmonious state, who in their right mind would want to live there for a day, let alone for all eternity?

So which of the Churches of Christ is right if only one can be correct? The Church that was destroyed and raised up again three days later. When Jesus walked among us he didn’t need anyone adding to his words or interpreting them then, nor is it required for anyone to do so now. He did however warn that many shall come in his name and that many will be deceived. Christ’s ministry was delivered in full and word perfect. Ye can either say Yea Yea or Nay Nay to his doctrines, anything else comes from evil. Or in other words “take it or leave it”, Jesus Christ is giving us a chance to be a part of The Kingdom of God, not a democracy or any sort of unruly rabble!

Philippians 3:14-21 “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.  Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.  Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.  Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.  (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:  Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)  For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:  Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.”

May God Bless you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

You’re not my Friend.

One of my greatest Blessings is my son Jens (Danish form of James) Christian Immanuel who has just recently turned three years old. He teaches me more than any adult I know. He wants my approval and my Love soo much that if he doesn’t receive it, he is totally heartbroken. If I raise my voice or change it’s tone from normal and calm, then he immediately “goes to tears” and is inconsolable without receiving reassurance and the mandatory hug. Even if it were only in alarm of impending danger, the tears flow, for he thinks I am displeased with him, when in fact I am merely trying to protect him from danger.

About six months ago, he started saying “you’re not coming to my birthday” whenever things didn’t go the way he wanted them to go.

Nowadays if things don’t go the way he wants them to go, he sits on the floor and with his lips pouted and eyes looking up to you from a bowed head, he says, “You’re not my Friend”.

When we raise our voices to adults, more often than not they will simply "zone out" either metaphorically or literally putting their fingers in their ears, cringing in a corner and awaiting the expected explosion.

Why won't they allow Same Sex Marriages?

Gay and Lesbian Marriages?  In fact all marriages including heterosexual marriages are allowed by The Grace of God. Enmity (differences) was only put between Adam and Eve and between Adam’s seed and Eve’s seed (so prior to them sinning they must have been of the same seed) and from then onwards required in sorrow and conception to bring forth children and live by the sweat of their brow as a punishment for being disobedient, NOT AS A REWARD.  It is not a breach of a commandment to be bound and faithful to your partner, it is only a sin to commit adultery or fornicate. If two people take up being together then “Let them be married”. If God’s will is such that he can say “let there be light” and there be light, then surely if he said “let them be married”, then they can be married. We are all God’s children (whether we believe it or not) and what father who’s child asks of him bread, would give them a stone?

Matt.18: 18-20 “Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.  Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father, which is in heaven.  For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

Marriage is after all not a Heavenly institution, but rather an earthly/worldly institution, Adam and Eve where husband and wife by the Grace of God (who on earth married them?).  Indeed the fact God allows any marriages at all is a sign of His Grace and Love and if two people feel so strongly as being part of each the other that they desire not to be separate, then let them be as one in marriage and considered one in flesh on earth and in Heaven.

Matt.22: 30 “For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.”

In praying “The Lord’s Prayer”, we pray “Our Farther which art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name, thy Kingdom come, thy will be done in earth as it is in Heaven”.  If it is not God’s Will for ANYONE to marry in Heaven, then in fact we are praying for an end to all marriages on earth.  And then we pray “give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”. Therein we are asking God to provide for us what we need, yet we are happy to deny others what they need (to be married). By disallowing a couple from being married (thereby becoming one flesh which cannot sin against itself), aren’t we guilty of causing them to live in sin and commit adultery? Who then is the greater sinner? Yet we go on to ask to be forgiven our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.

Please forgive anyone for accusing you of being hypocrites!

God Bless you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Christopher John Petersen.

Inspired by what took place whilst helping a Perfect Stranger.

People, who are of this world and not of God’s Kingdom, simply cannot comprehend, let alone understand how or why I do the things I do or behave in a manner altogether alien to them.  They think I am from another planet and technically I suppose they are right, for they are of this world and I am of another.  To a Disciple of Christ, it is so easy to identify the difference by what is sealed in their foreheads. Those of the world are the first to give advice (usually insistently and without being asked for it) and the last to listen to or take any advice.  Whereas those who are not of the world are they that first of all listen and offer advise when it is asked for or if discerned to be required.  Those of the world garner money and possessions around them like there’s on tomorrow, some will stop at nothing to acquire them, then zealously defend against their loss to the point of worrying themselves into an early grave.  The Abiding Christian however, is the last to ask for money or seek to acquire it and the first to give it away and think nothing of it.  Why would anyone sow seeds for a harvest in which they will not directly profit and only be remunerated for their time and efforts after they die?  The answer has to do with Abiding, Believing, Commitment, Devotion, Embodiment, Faith, Generosity, Healing, Integrity, Jesus-like, Karma, Love, Ministry, Nay, Obedience, Perseverance, Questioning, Reverence, Salvation, Truth, Unselfishness, Virtues, Willpower, X (an unknown, being anonymous, shouldering or bearing a cross), Yea and Zealousness.   Indeed a complete raft of reasons and the A to Z of Abiding in and being one with Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  When you work on the world’s time, you can work hard and long and be paid a King’s Ransome for your efforts, only for it all to be in vain and worthless to you in the end. When you work on God’s Time, there is no mad hurry as God has all the time in the world and the rewards are Priceless (of more value than can ever be imagined).

For my part, I would much rather be “Working On God’s Time”, than to be working on borrowed time.  Furthermore, God’s Savings Plan (Saving souls and Heavenly Rewards) is not at the mercy of Wall Street.

May God’s Blessing through Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ be upon you all.

"MANKIND" a poem from the book "The Forgotten Foundling" by Christopher John Petersen

Adam has been split many times but when you put all the pieces of the puzzle back together, the answer still is one.

Mankind,
is what we need,
for kind men,
have no greed.

Brotherhood and equality,
will set us free,
this domineering dictators,
cannot see.

Peace of mind,
is yours to be got,
and many seek it,
for it means a lot.

for those who seek,
and do not find,
the Grail you seek,
is your mind.

Before you bring judgement,
and slander and curse,
think how you'd feel,
if the roles were reverse?

Discretion's the better part of valour,
of this you can be sure,
as the world's seen lots of fighting,
do we really need any more?

It takes two to tango,
consider carefully what you say,
and if agreement isn't reached,
then simply walk away.

Thor's the host of thunder,
"Adamsapple" the forbidden fruit,
also called the thoraxe,
be meek and keep it mute.

Individuals argue,
and fight unto the end,
let's all be singular plural,
and all be for A-MEN.

Life is but a riddle,
not meant in jest,
but merely to find out,
if we pass the test.

Love thy neighbours,
as you would have they you,
and forgivest thee they,
that know not what they do.

Love is like a flower,
the seeds of which we sow,
and if we're very careful,
we'll see it blossom and grow.

We're all each only fractions,
the sum of which is one,
let's all join hands together,
and see peace on Earth begun.

May God's Blessing be upon you all AMEN

Undying Love For A Love That Is Dying (complete) by Christopher John Petersen

UNDYING LOVE FOR A LOVE THAT IS DYING

The artist put himself to task,
to realise a dream;
and gathered up and set it so,
it did not show a seam.

with loving hands he polished it,
and when each piece was done;
he set it all in motion,
giving life to every one.

Then he put a keeper in it's midst,
and said "Watch over it";
then saw he needed company,
and so of his breast did knit.

then said "Come see what I've cast on,
from a stitch across your heart;
this stitch to remind both of you,
that you should never part".

Now looking upon his loving work,
behold it has been dashed;
for some have come along, and with
a tarnished brush have splashed;

With fond filled fancies,
of lavish meadows Green;
of shimmering Sunkissed dewdrops,
on countless blossoms sheen.

An array of fossils and footsteps,
of all pleasantries ever seen;
now memories locked in teardrops,
of all that once had been.

Mother Earth, once plump and fruitful,
laid waste by foolish schemes;
left in the hands of ignorant caretakers,
is now falling apart at the seams.

All the artist's beloved creations,
have all but come and went;
shall the Harvest Moon not bless our skies,
'til this beloved Earth is spent?

Despondent over desolate spaces,
we dream the poet's dream;
of living in tranquil places,
with peace on Earth serene.

To live in joyous frivolity,
with nothing to bring us down;
to look in all directions,
and nay have cause to frown.

May God help us to understand and respect all that is given us A-MEN

An Ode To Those Of The Harvest (complete) by Christopher John Petersen

AN ODE TO THOSE OF THE HARVEST

In those God hath invested,
He shall not lose one;
who're understandingly prepared to take the plunge,
and do the bidding of His Son.

For they who believe in God's Word,
beyond a shadow of a doubt;
seek those lost in the wilderness, and help
them find the only way out.

Of they shall come an hundred, fifty
ten, or maybe just one;
gathering those that are lost, to the flock of Christ
God's only begotten Son.

For there is more rejoicing in Heaven,
to the gathering of these ones;
than for all of those that went not astray,
from the flock that these foundlings do come.

Because the mass of God increases, as one
joins the body of Christ;
and so all in Heaven celebrate, singing
praises of sheer delight.

Light comes not from darkness,
nor does darkness come from light;
if thou art filled with the Light that the Love of God brings,
thou art truly a blessed sight.

We are all, each out of sintax,
in err, way over our head;
when we repent and believe in Jesus Christ,
it's paid with the Blood that He shed.

CHRIST is God's only begotten Son, and
I to Jesus have truly come;
AN, another word for being one,
and so a CHRISTIAN I've become.

Finders keep us,
in our Lord Jesus;
Jesus keep us,
as your reapers.

My God through Jesus Christ save us all. A-MEN.

An extract from my poem "An Ode To Those Of The Harvest"

"CHRIST is God's only begotten Son, and
I to Jesus have truly come;
AN, another word for being one,
and so a CHRISTIAN I've become."

-----

I "follow" Jesus Christ and in all his doctrines abide, if thou shouldst so desire that we should tarry together abiding and walking in the “Light of God’s Truth” on our journey, then God willing, let it be so.
