Was the sinner on the cross an exception?

There are many who argue that the “sinner crucified beside Jesus” was saved without being Baptised in/with water and/or born of the Spirit. There is of course NO SCRIPTURE to support that claim. However there are many indications given and other facts that do support the contrary. My endeavour here is to establish that there is every likelihood that the sinner in question had already been Baptised in water and was already a believer in Jesus Christ and His doctrines.

Let us firstly establish a few facts (within the limitations of what we are told/read).

1. Both John (the Baptist) and Jesus were conceived by the will of God by the Holy Ghost. Two miraculous conceptions, John to an elderly woman considered way past her child bearing years (Elizabeth wife of Zechariah)  and Jesus to the Virgin Mary who was Betrothed to Joseph. Both were SENT by God, but for different purposes. One was to Baptise with water unto Repentance and the other to deliver His Word to His People with the Spirit of Truth, baptising those who Believe with the Spirit of God for the forgiveness of sins with the sacrifice of His own Blood sealing the New Covenant.

2. It is said that the Ministry of Jesus Christ lasted three years and 6 months (3.5 years) from Jesus’ baptism by John (the Baptist) unto His crucifixion.

3. Jesus was born 6 months after John (the Baptist).

4. It was not allowed for someone to become a Priest until they were thirty years old (30 years old), so Jesus (being blameless) would have observed this Law and gone to the river Jordan to be Baptised by John (the Baptist) not before turning 30 years old.

Now some may well be wondering what those 4 points listed above have to do with the sinner on the cross? A short answer would be a VERY GREAT DEAL.

Unlike the justice system(s) of nowadays where one can drag-out execution of an original conviction with appeal after appeal after appeal, the justice back in the days when Jesus walked upon the Earth was swift and rights of appeal a rarity (Jesus’ and Paul’s treatment were exceptions and not the rule). Jesus was taken into custody because of a betrayal and conspiracy and was repeatedly acquitted of any wrong-doing (found not worthy of death) and was only condemned to death because it was the will of the Scribes and Pharisees (not Pilate nor Herod). Paul was not able to be judged under the Law (Jewish Laws) as he claimed to be born a Roman and was sent incarcerated to be judged in Rome. With this in mind and given that John (the Baptist) had been Baptising in the river Jordan for maybe 6 months before he Baptised Jesus and that Jesus had been Preaching the Gospel for 3 years and 6 months before being condemned to be crucified, then there was a period of no less than 4 years (3.5 years + 0.5 years = 4 years) wherein the sinner could have been Baptised prior to his conviction and sentencing carried-out with his subsequent crucifixion along-side Jesus. Furthermore there were 3 years and 6 months when the sinner could have heard about the Gospel of Jesus and believed on Him. To say that the sinner had not been Baptised in water or heard about the Gospel of Jesus prior to his crucifixion would require one to believe that the sinner (thief) had been held in captivity and incarcerated for 4 years prior to his sentence being carried-out. Given the swiftness of punishment befitting the crime in those days, being held-over for punishment for 4 or more years is not only PREPOSTEROUS, it was just downright UNHEARD-OF.

Yes, the same could also be said about the other (unrepentant) sinner as those circumstances would also be true for him as well.

So here we have 3 condemned men being crucified, the first is a thief that refuses to accept his punishment, is unrepentant and would escape death by any means possible (even a miracle).  The second also a thief who is self-confessed as being worthy of death for his crime (repentant) and accepting of his fate and who feared God, who spoke out against the unrepentant sinner and acknowledged Jesus as the Lord and asked Jesus “Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy Kingdom”.  The third was the Son of the Living God, who was condemned to death without a cause and accepted his punishment without complaint, secure in the foreknowledge and Faith therein that it was for that purpose to which he was born into the world.

Now in the entire chapter of Luke 23 it never mentions that either of the thieves were not Jews, so it can be safely assumed that they were Jews because no distinction was made about them. Also given the period of 4 years mentioned above, the thieves had plenty of time prior to their incarceration and subsequent crucifixion, to receive the Jewish right of Baptism in water unto repentance (thereby becoming a Disciple of John the Baptist). Part of John the Baptist’s mission to Baptise God’s People (the Jews) was to inform those he Baptised to seek Jesus who would Baptise them with the Holy Ghost and believe on Him for the remission of their sins. Finally, during that whole chapter never at any stage did anyone (not even Jesus) teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ or the Kingdom of God or indeed Life after death to either of the thieves.

In summary:

What we know for certain about the second thief are these facts:

1. He was almost certainly a Jew as he was condemned under the Jewish Law.

2. He was absolutely repentant of his crime and had ample time prior to crucifixion to have confessed and been Baptised unto repentance (water Baptism) prior to his incarceration.

3. He had a thorough foreknowledge of the Kingdom of God, life after death and also knew that it was the Lord Jesus who was beside him being crucified also.

4. He vehemently defended Jesus’ inaction of not interceding and saving them from their punishment.

5. He had confessed Jesus as his Lord when he addressed Jesus as such.

Given the 5 points I have highlighted above, there is in fact every reason to believe that the second thief was actually a Disciple of Jesus’. Remember the only thing Jesus said to the second thief was to reassure him that he was not going to perish that day. And maybe the reason for that was because the second thief had already met all that was required to be saved and that Luke who recorded the exchange between Jesus and the second thief was merely unaware of it and hence failed to mention it.

Finally, I think I have highlighted that there is sufficient reasonable doubt that nobody can conclusively say that the second thief was saved without being Baptised in water, let alone believed the Word of Truth and declared Jesus as his Lord. YES The second thief was not Baptised when he was on the cross, BUT that doesn’t mean that he wasn’t Baptised and a Believer prior to being crucified.

Have we made ourselves known to the Lord?

Although I was conceived by the will of the flesh, yet have I been attained by the will of God and abide herewith.

From the moment we are born, as each day passes our days on this Earth become fewer. There are many who choose to neither labour or strive but rather live a life garnished by “ill gotten gains” (acquired not earned), by way of deception, theft, murder or by other unrighteous means. They will never know Grace nor be honoured, for they could never bestow or bequeath anything that is “rightfully theirs”, for that which is rightfully gotten is called “GOODS” and remains the property of the rightful owner until ownership is passed to another by the owner thereof.

And some in their youth labour and strive as much as they are able to lay-up wealth and riches for the days when they are old and nearing death, much of which will profit nobody but by a dead legacy, having left (not given) only what they no longer have need of themselves, having never suffered the needs of others, the memory of such shall be their shame.

And some labour and strive only for what they need day by day, harvesting no more than they need and so do all their lives unto death, thereby leaving no legacy at all, for they too never suffered the needs of another, the memory of they shall be as though they never were or lived at all.

And some labour and strive as much as they are able, keeping only that which they need and dispersing all excess to those who have needs beyond their abilities or circumstances permit, laying up nothing for themselves for a morrow that may not come, but rather suffering all they can for those who are in need in the day that they know that they are able to so do, having Faith that each morrow shall bring an abundance for likewise dispersal, not only of their riches but their wisdom also, and in the years that they are not, they shall be remembered for bestowing a Living Legacy of a life lived worthy of remembrance and emulation. For they, whilst they were yet with us, saw those that were hungry and fed them, they in need of shelter and took them in, clothed those who had not, gave drink to those athirst, visited the sick and poorly, gave wisdom to the unwise, knowledge to those who know not, had prayers for all and favoured none. Not remembered as Gods, but rather as one who had the Love of God abiding in them (Children of God) and lived accordingly, for it is far better to sympathise and act whilst thou yet live, than to merely empathise and do nothing except it be over your dead body and of no sacrifice at all.

Matthew 7:20-27. “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”

Matthew 25:31-46. "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. I am not advocating becoming a “Good Samaritan”, for a Samaritan acts on their own will. Nor am I advocating inaction. But rather Acting and Speaking in concert and in harmony with the Holy Spirit and Will of God. This can be no clearer than in the words of “The Lord’s Prayer”. For in it Jesus says, “Thy Will be DONE on Earth as it is in Heaven”. This statement alone implies that God’s Will is not always “the DONE thing” on Earth, but “IS ALWAYS THE DONE THING” in Heaven. And at the risk of stating what now should be obvious, “Whomsoever is not for The Will of God [alike] is against the Will of God [unlike]. How for then shall we be “likened”? Good fruit are “known” firstly by their appearance [by sight and what they appear to be] and confirmed by what they deliver from within [their essence and content or true value and worth]. We acknowledge that we are sustained by the Hand of God and the Word of God. Be merciful unto us as we ourselves are merciful unto others. And although we may at times have temptations laid in our paths, we Trust that the Holy Spirit shall deliver us from being tempted and not succumb to it.

Shall we be only the outward shell of what promises great things, yet when required inwardly showing no depth of character and those depending on us left wanting (even for small mercies). Or maybe we can be the deliverer of small and simple acts that amount to an abundance over the term of our lives. If we cannot be trusted to deliver the small and simple things, how can we be entrusted to deliver great and miraculous things? Is it not better that we do what we can guided by the Holy Spirit using our God given Talents (abilities), than to go all our lives trying to perform Miracles and accomplish nothing due to a lack of Faith? Should we bury our Talents or use them just for ourselves or make Good use of them so they may give a greater return to He who invested us with them? Friends, what is the greater? Is it the one who gives all of what little they have, or the one who gives a fraction they have from their abundance?

Mark 12:42-44. “And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.”

Matthew 25:23. “His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”

May God Bless us all that we may bestow His Blessings, His Word and Promises with others that hath not. A-men.

Humanity to pontificate,

As words abate,

Before God kneeled,

Questions asked and the answers came,

How can I paint a picture,
of what my eyes do see?
How can I express these feelings,
so deep inside of me?

How can I touch another's heart,
without causing any pain?
Please tell me darling, will I ever
hear from you again?

I'm searching for the truth,
amongst a pack of blatant lies;
and only you can stop these tears,
falling from my eyes.

I wake up every morning,
wishing I was dead;
How can I face this music,
that is ringing in my head?

And now with every breath I take,
I smell your sweet cologne;
Then with a flood of memories,
again start wishing you'd come home.

I'm sorry for all I've said and done,
that's caused you such distress;
You had every right to leave me here,
a broken hearted mess.

They say I'm irresponsible ,
for accepting all the blame;
but I don't care what they say,
'cos to me it's all the same.

there's no point in a second chance,
if one still bears a grudge;
so whether or not it's possible,
I'll let you be the judge.

I couldn't bear to see, what you'd do,
if you didn't get your way;
so simply gave you everything,
then had to go away.

I could not, nor ever could,
condone all that you have done;
and even though I let you win,
you act as though you won.

You think your so exceptional,
that you can't do any wrong;
but regretfully I must disagree,

Although I do forgive you,
repentant though art not;
and so on judgement day my love,

To perish you must first be accused,

The fact I didn't fight for your affections,
doesn't mean that I wanted them not;
but rather have learned that they're yours to give,
and that you chose, to me, to not.

Just because I did not beseech you, doesn't mean
that I love you any the less;
but am belonging from the nearest possible distance,
should you beacon for me in distress.

Though I'd much rather be there beside you,
I know this is not your will;
but even after an eternity of standing bye,
I know I'll love you still.

Since leaving I've done nothing with my life,
but I've nobody to live it for;
and live in the hope of an invitation from your heart,
and to be welcomed through it's door.

What we started was never finished,
but lays in ruin by mutual neglect;
stifled by short-sighted ignorance,
and foolish pride, that is due no respect.

All I treasure I carry with me,
most my fondest memories of you;
and my burdens, the fonder memories,
that we never knew.

Third degree burns upon the hearts,
of two lovers drifting apart;
because of woeful words that were once said,
born of each other's tongues undead.

If you think these words distasteful,
then you have their meaning wrong;
it's not my intention to upset you, but merely hope you regret,
as much as I that things turned out wrong.

OUR JESS...

Your mother was once, the apple of my eye,

And you but a twinkle, that when born made me sigh,

Then I gave you your name, and put you to breast,

Of your mother who raised you and gave you her best.

They say if you Love someone, you must let them go,

And how much I care for you, you may never know,

Yet oft times I think of you and pray you’re alright,

Then softly whisper, God Bless you tonight.

With playful reminders, of happiness... still,

I never thought... or perceived that I will,

With soberness of mind, he takes up his quill,

And awaits the muses that are currently still,

he struggles in thought as the candle burns low,

a flickering light on a page, words yet to bestow.

Then all of a sudden there’s a change in the light,

The flickering dim flame is now dancing and bright,

Words flowing like summoned then plucked from the air,

And the former blank parchment is no longer bare.

Full of meaning and purpose he scribes through the night,

A little here a little there ‘til he’s got it just right,

Then sets he his quill from whence it had come,

And hopes that his work is pleasing to some.

The Labor Partys’ “Malaysia Solution” of swapping 800 undesirable boat-people for 4,000 genuine refugees is merely “Government Sanctioned People Trafficing” and if I’m not mistaken, also includes a very large financial package to boot!

Isn’t paying money and other kickbacks to move people “People Smuggling?”

Again, this is just more evidence of the ALPs’ HYPOCRECY!

CBA’s “Coinland” fails in it’s philanthropically inspired endeavour to teach children about Financial Literacy.

In order to make an evaluation of this “latest” philanthropic effort by the CBA to educate our youth about “Earning”, “Saving” and how to be “Financially Savvy” for the real world, we need to establish some equivalents for the purpose of doing so. So for this exercise, let’s say 1 Coinland coin = $1.00AUD and that the “Skills Packs” are a “Trade Qualification” for the worker and that the lack of a “Skills Pack” equates to “Unskilled Worker”. Bonus coins are paid to workers who beat their own best time/effort which eventually becomes more and more impossible to better. They also only provide banking facilities from one bank only (their own) and pay 4% interest per day which equates to 1,460% per annum (tax free). On the side of spending they charge realistic prices for rides, movies and buying clothes etcetera, (however teleportation is a bit of a stretch).

Okay, now let us look closer at these factors and how effective the outcome is in relation to what happens in real life (which is what they are pro-porting to prepare our children for).

1. Firstly, on the spending side of things most of the items and prices are basically comparable with their cost in the real world with a few exceptions. 
2. Teleportation? Is it possible in real life? What is wrong with Donkeys, Horses, Cars, Busses, Trains and Planes? Let alone what a child can really relate to like Scooters and Bicycles. 
3. 60 coins to become a Tradesperson in a given field? What happened to passing a proficiency test (doing a course) to get ahead in a given trade? Can you get a legitimate qualification in the real world just by paying a fee unless the system is intrinsically and FUND-A-MENTALLY corrupt? 
4. Paying a bonus coin for exceeding your best time/effort. This eventually becomes a disincentive when that time/effort becomes unsurpassable. Why not have it paid whenever the average time/effort is exceeded? Then there would be an on-going incentive to do the tasks, rather than no longer trying to do the job and being paid $2/minute ($120/hour) and doing nothing other than turning up for work and passing the time? You can agree to help serve drinks, serve none at all and still receive 3-6 coins for doing no work at all, just be there for 2 & ½ minutes. Who in the real world would get away with doing that time and again and not be dismissed or not be rehired? 
5. 1,460% per annum interest (tax free)? WOW I’d like to be able to get a 100^th of that rate (tax free or not). How does that rate have any significant bearing on reality? Other than to brain-wash our children to use their product. When in the real world the product offered to children discriminates against children by paying a lousy 4% per annum while other people are paid up to 60% higher interest. 
6. Only 1 bank is offered to the players which is a monopoly. Whereas in real life there are many banks to choose from for investing your money.   

The fact is, that the game has little (if any) bearing on reality. In reality the banks have what I call “Trap Accounts” for both Pensioners and Children. Pensioners are hoodwinked into having a “Pensioner Deeming Account” that pays 2% or so less than the Highest Rate available. In much the same way, children are hoodwinked/stymied into Children’s Bank Accounts paying at best 4% per annum interest when adults can earn 6.51% per annum at call. Who gets the rest of the interest, the bank does in the form of a greater margin on lending “your money” to others. A further disincentive to a child’s potential financial future is imposed by the government, by limiting the amount a child can earn in interest to about $500 per annum before having to pay tax, whereas an adult can earn in excess of $6,000 before they pay any tax at all on their income.

In summary, maybe one day children and pensioners will not be taken advantage of by the banks and the ATO, but I don’t think it will happen anytime soon.

3.      Under no circumstances put “square pegs in round holes”.

4.      Money grows on trees.

5.      Perfect Planning Prevents Poor Performance.

6.      ‘ (apostrophe) Never overlook, omit or leave anything to chance.

7.      Stick to what you know and never overextend yourself, your abilities or your resources.

A Walk With Grace

One day I walked, I walked and saw, I saw a sight, the sight I saw, the day I walked and saw.

The day I walked, I walked and heard, I heard a sound, a sound I heard, the day I walked and heard.

The day I walked, I walked and touched, I touched and felt, and felt by touch, the day I walked and touched.

The day I walked, I walked and tasted, I tasted a taste, a tasty taste, the day I walked and tasted.

The day I walked, I walked and smelt, I smelled a smell, and smelt the smell, the day I walked and smelt.

The day I walked, I walked and pondered, I pondered a thought, in thought I pondered, the day I walked and pondered.

And now I sit, I sit in wonder, at the wonderful gifts, given to me, by God the day I walked.

Could somebody please explain to Julia Gillard the purpose of a Carbon Tax.

So Julia Gillard thinks she has the right to impose her will of a Carbon Tax on all Australians and our trading partners. Well let us examine her credentials about having that right.

1. Became Prime Minister by stabbing Kevin Rudd in the back. (NOT ELECTED BY THE PEOPLE)
2. Is now only Prime Minister in a MINORITY GOVERNMENT by winning 4 VOTES. (THE GREENS and 3 INDEPENDENTS) Yet on a 1 vote 1 value basis WOULD HAVE LOST THE POPULAR VOTE.
3. SHE THEREFORE HAS NO MANDATE TO MAKE ANY SWEEPING CHANGES TO ANYTHING!
4. Wants to introduce (WITHOUT A MANDATE TO DO SO) a Tax on the use of Carbon Polluting resources, and then give the money back (by way of hand-outs) to off-set any price increases. (THEREBY DEFEATING THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF THE CARBON TAX IN THE FIRST PLACE).
5. The woman just CAN'T BE TRUSTED. Just ask Kevin Rudd and anyone else who heard her assurances (PROMISES) prior the the 2010 Election.

When the Coalition introduced the Goods ans Services Tax, they went to an Election with it on the table and out in the open. They therefore had a Mandate from the people of Australia to do so. Julia Gillard has no such mandate, she barely has the right to collect existing taxes and pay the countries bills.

A Carbon Tax (if it is to achieve the desired result) SHOULD MAKE THINGS THAT USE FOSSIL FUELS MORE EXPENSIVE! It would thereby make less/non polluting sources of power/energy more attractive and affordable as an alternative. The mere idea of giving money raised from the Tax back to off-set the rise in the cost of using the taxed fuel IS LUDICROUS and self-defeating.

Julia, give us a Carbon Tax where ALL money raised from it goes to Renewable Energy research and development and subsidising clean-energy usage and installation. DO THAT, AND EVEN I WILL VOTE FOR IT!

Altiyan, I don’t liken you to any particular front-man from any popular rock band in either Australia or any other country. You are reminiscent of the likes of Joe Camilleri, Michael Hutchence, Doc Neeson or Bon Scott, to name just a few Australian Lead Singers who have/had that something special “The X Factor”. If this was just a singing competition, then I believe that Madison (on the strength of her audition with Whitney Huston’s “I have nothing”) should have won. However, the X Factor is not about emulating another’s performance(s) or perfect pitch singing alone. It is about finding someone who has the “Special Something”, “Stage Presence” and/or “Captivating Believability”. Altiyan you have all that and more “In Spades”. Whether you win this competition or not, Ronan (and many thousands of viewers) know(s) you have what it takes to be successful, not only as a recording artist, but more importantly as a “Live Performer”.

I’d wish you good luck in the final, however you don’t need luck, you are a True Winner already.

Many say “Spare the rod, spoil the child”, I say, “Spare the Child and to hell with the rod”.

Form the very bowels of agony a child comes forth and is immediately greeted by the mother with absolute Love. Such is God’s Love for us, whether we are a sinner or a Saint. No harm should come to us by the hand of another. For God places his mark on us as he did to Cane (claiming sole rights to any vengeance and retribution for any wrong doing) and later confirmed His exclusive right to judge any sinner when Jesus Christ said “let he who is without sin cast the first stone”. Jesus also taught his followers that it is a wicked servant who is forgiven their debts by their Master and yet fails to do likewise for their subordinates or servants. Jesus also taught that a good tree does not bring forth bad fruit and that everyone shall be known by the words that proceed from them. A newborn child has no judgement or ill feelings towards anyone in the world and if we are to perfect the Love of God and the Love of Jesus Christ in our lives then we should be likewise Loving and devoted to caring for All our fellowman. The Love of God and Jesus Christ are UNCONDITIONAL, WITHOUT BIAS and UNPREJUDICED. If we are to be as Jesus Christ wants us to be which is “as little children” then we are to look on one-another through “innocent eyes”.

I was a sinner and because my sins have been forgiven through God’s Mercy and by the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ and in diligently abiding by all and every instruction given by Jesus Christ, shall never condemn or forsake another to come unto the Lord, A-Men!

My detractors shall become my greatest allies by virtue of the Word of God delivered unto us by Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

It is not for me to determine or decree that anyone should harken unto anything that I write this day, or indeed at any other time. But if ye hath an ear to hear these words I write, then I am glad that they are neither in vain nor spake merely unto the air.

It is an ever-increasing concern to me (and no doubt many others) that Christianity has become so fragmented because of differences of opinion (interpretations) that it is in danger of becoming irrelevant. Did Jesus not say, “A Kingdom that is divided against itself will not stand”? 1 Corinthians 14:33 “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” So logically the only culprit of the dishevelled state of Christ’s Church is man himself. Christ’s Church has been divided and sent off on more tangents than there are points on a compass. Seriously if the Kingdom of God was in the same inharmonious state, who in their right mind would want to live there for a day, let alone for all eternity?

So which of the Churches of Christ is right if only one can be correct? The Church that was destroyed and raised up again three days later. When Jesus walked among us he didn’t need anyone adding to his words or interpreting them then, nor is it required for anyone to do so now. He did however warn that many shall come in his name and that many will be deceived. Christ’s ministry was delivered in full and word perfect. Ye can either say Yea Yea or Nay Nay to his doctrines, anything else comes from evil. Or in other words “take it or leave it”, Jesus Christ is giving us a chance to be a part of The Kingdom of God, not a democracy or any sort of unruly rabble!

Philippians 3:14-21 “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.  Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.  Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.  Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.  (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:  Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)  For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:  Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.”
